Congratulations to The Minutes, who are the winners the Vodafone Bright New Sounds competition.
Following an amazing gig in Dublin's Tripod on Thursday April 3rd, The Dublin trio were chosen as best band by the panel of judges who were

- Elanor McGuiness,POD
- Keith Johnson, IMRO
They'll now be signed to Universal Music's new NoCarbon Label, with recording at Windmill Lane Studios, Dublin, a photo-shoot, digital single release and a launch gig.
They'll also be able to keep in touch with their new Sony Ericsson K850is and 1000 euro Vodafone call credit for each member.
Congratulations to Mark (Guitars,Vox) Tom (Bass), Shane (Drums) and to the other finalists who provided an amazing show.

Universal Ireland will sign the winning Act to the new NoCarbon label. The prize includes a single recorded at the famous Windmill Lane Studios.
The single will be released by Universal in May 2008 along with arranged media interviews and a launch gig already booked as part of the package.
Each member of the winning act will receive a SonyEricsson K850i with 1,000 Euro Vodafone credit. Full details and dates for the prize are available here. |
